Welcome to Stoneridge. You’ve got a private, single-level home with ski-in/ski-out access, your own entrance, and the free village shuttle right out front. Settle in, here’s everything you’ll need.
Fully stocked and ready to cook in, with oil, spices, pots and pans, a coffee maker and a Keurig, plus a dishwasher, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, fridge, freezer and kettle. A high chair and children’s tableware are here if you need them. Dishwasher pods and extra garbage bags are under the kitchen sink.
The gas fireplace runs off the grey remote labelled “Fireplace” in the living room. Press power to turn it on or off, and the up/down arrows to set the temperature. Please turn it off before you leave and while you sleep.
If it won’t turn on: the pilot light shuts off after about 7 days of no use (a safety feature) and needs reigniting:
Baseboard heaters with their own thermostats are throughout the home, use the up/down arrows to set each room. There’s no air conditioning, so in summer open the windows and patio door for airflow.
It’s a smart TV, sign in to your own streaming accounts. The router is in the basket below the TV.
The in-suite washer and dryer are in the laundry closet in the primary bedroom. Pods are on the shelf beside them, and please clear the lint tray after each load.
The main bathroom has a bathtub and a bidet, with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Extra paper towels are under the sink.
The outdoor patio has a barbecue for your use.
You have one covered stall beside the front door, no pass needed there. If it’s taken, use the visitor parking across the street with the yellow pass from the foyer, placed on your dashboard. Cars without a displayed pass get towed. Please return the pass to the foyer before you leave.
Skiing in to Blackcomb: leave the Stoneridge neighbourhood and turn left (west) onto Spearhead Drive. Head 120 m and turn left onto the trail at the crosswalk, the first trail entrance past the Greystone Lodge. Follow it 210 m to Blackcomb’s Lower Merlin Run, which takes you down to the Blackcomb Gondola.
Skiing out: take Lower Merlin Run down the mountain, and about 400 m from the base look for a tree marked “Marquise Ski Out.” Follow that trail and it brings you back to Spearhead Drive.
Ski storage racks and a boot dryer are in the front foyer.
Take garbage and plastic recycling to the shed across the street, garbage and cardboard go in the dumpster, and plastics go in the bins. (Cardboard can also go to the Function Junction or Nester’s depot, open 7 AM to 7 PM.)
You’re in Whistler’s Upper Village, with ski access out the door and groceries, restaurants and the free shuttle all close by.
Upper Village Market is the closest grocery, a short walk or quick shuttle ride. For a bigger shop, the village markets, Marketplace IGA, Fresh St. Market and Nesters, are a few minutes further.
The free Whistler Village Shuttle stops right in front of the complex every 5 minutes, from early morning to late evening, running to the Upper Village and Whistler Village.
